Meat and Fish Cutter

VINAYAK TRADERS PTE. LTD. is looking for a Meat and Fish Cutter to join their team. The role is based at PENJURU RECREATION CENTRE, 27 PENJURU WALK 608538. This is a Full Time, Non-executive position.

Key Responsibilities

The role involves technical butchery, food processing, and customer interaction:

• Primary Butchery: Breaking down large cuts of meat and fulfill custom orders based on customer specifications.

• Technical Processing: Use specialized equipment such as slicers, grinders, and scales to weigh out final portions and package products for sale.

• Value-Added Tasks: Curing meat and making sausages.

• Safety & Hygiene: Sanitize all surfaces and equipment, ensuring meat is fresh and stored according to food safety standards.

• Customer Service: Interact with customers, take orders, and provide recommendations.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Knife Proficiency: High proficiency in using various knives and cutting tools to butch and prepare meat.

• Product Knowledge: Deep understanding of different meat cuts and accurate portioning techniques.

• Workplace Safety: Knowledge of safety practices to prevent injuries and maintain a clean workspace.

Experience Needed

Candidates should have at least 1 year of relevant experience. The role spans several sectors, including F&B, Sales/Retail, and Customer Service.
