Doorman / Porter (Residences)

ST. REGIS HOTEL SINGAPORE is seeking a professional Doorman / Porter for their Residences. This is a Full Time, Non-executive position based at 29 Tanglin Road.

Key Responsibilities

The role is focused on providing a luxury welcome and seamless logistical support for guests and residents:

• Guest Arrival & Departure: Greet guests with genuine appreciation, open doors, and assist individuals in and out of vehicles.

• Luggage Handling: Transport, store, and retrieve guest luggage. This includes loading/unloading vehicles and moving bags to designated areas or rooms.

• Concierge Support: Provide directions, arrange transportation (taxis, limousines, or shuttles), and explain property amenities and room features to guests.

• Safety & Security: Maintain awareness of undesirable persons, report unsafe conditions, and follow all company parking and safety procedures.

Required Qualifications & Physical Traits

• Communication: Must use clear, professional language and demonstrate appropriate telephone etiquette.

• Physical Demands: This is a highly active role requiring significant physical effort:

  • Standing or walking for an entire shift.

  • Lifting/carrying up to 50 pounds (approx. 22.5kg) independently and 75 pounds (approx. 34kg) with assistance.

  • Navigating stairs, ramps, and uneven surfaces.

• Professionalism: Maintain a clean, professional appearance and comply with all quality assurance standards.

Experience Needed

Candidates are required to have 1 year of experience in the Hospitality industry.

Benefits

The monthly salary for this position ranges from $1,950 to $2,100.
