PHOON HUAT PTE. LTD. is looking for a Retail Assistant for their Hougang outlet. Known for baking supplies under the Phoon Huat and Redman brands, this role is a Full Time, Non-executive position.
Key Responsibilities
The role involves end-to-end retail operations, from customer service to stock management:

Customer Excellence: Greet walk-in customers, handle shopping inquiries, and promote baking products.

Merchandising: Replenish stock, perform price tagging, and conduct regular checks for out-of-stock items, quality, and expiry dates.

Cashiering: Handle transactions, manage exchanges and refunds, and promote the customer loyalty program.

Store Maintenance: Maintain high standards of housekeeping and hygiene, create retail displays, and participate in stock-taking and cashier balancing.
Required Qualifications & Traits

Education: Minimum GCE ‘O’ or ‘N’ Level.

Experience: Requires 1 year of experience; however, candidates with retail experience are preferred but not necessary as training will be provided.

Physicality: Must be able to carry loads of 10kg and above (e.g., flour sacks or baking supplies).

Soft Skills: Friendly disposition, good communication skills in English, and a positive attitude.
Working Hours & Schedule
The store operates on a rotating shift basis to cover peak periods:

Work Week: 5 workdays per week on rotating shifts.

Flexibility: Includes working on weekends and Public Holidays.
Salary & Benefits

Monthly Salary: $2,300 to $2,400.
