KYO MATCHA PTE. LTD. is hiring a Pastry Production Assistant for their central kitchen operations at Labrador Tower. This role supports the production for the Kyo Kohee brand, focusing on high-quality desserts and pastries.
Key Responsibilities
The role involves the full production cycle of desserts in a controlled kitchen environment:

Production: Assist in preparing and producing items such as puddings, muffins, cakes, and pastries. You will also handle sauce preparation and portioning according to standardized recipes.

Quality Control: Ensure all products consistently meet the Company’s SOP and quality standards to maintain brand integrity.

Packing & Storage: Portion, label, and store finished goods. You will also manage raw materials using the FIFO (First-In, First-Out) method across various temperature zones.

Maintenance: Maintain a sterile and organized workspace, ensuring all equipment and utensils are cleaned according to food safety standards.
Required Qualifications & Traits

Experience: Requires 1 year of experience; however, candidates with a background in bakeries or central kitchens are preferred. Training will be provided for those with the right attitude.

Physicality: Must be able to stand for long hours and work comfortably in both standard kitchen and cool room environments.

Mindset: A strong willingness to learn, a positive attitude, and the ability to strictly follow recipes and SOPs.
Working Hours & Schedule
The role utilizes a Compressed Work Schedule and Flexi-Hours to meet production targets:

Main Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM – 5:30 PM.

Flexibility: Shifts on Public Holidays and weekends may be required based on operational needs.
Salary & Benefits
The monthly salary ranges from $2,100 to $2,500, depending on your prior experience in pastry production.
