SLIDE & HIDE System (S) Pte Ltd is hiring an Assistant Factory Manager to oversee their manufacturing facility in Yishun. This role is a leadership position focused on the production of specialized space-saving concealed sliding door systems like “SLIDEHIDE” and “CAVIWALL”.
Key Responsibilities
You will be the “hands-on” leader on the shop floor, ensuring production targets are met with high efficiency:

Shopfloor Leadership: Manage and lead factory workers, including task allocation, discipline, and training. You will be responsible for maintaining strong shopfloor discipline.

Production Planning: Work with the Factory Manager to execute production schedules, monitor quality, and prevent delays through careful material usage planning.

Quality & Safety: Enforce workplace safety procedures and high quality standards. You will track raw material wastage and conduct inventory stock takes.

Maintenance & Improvement: Coordinate preventive maintenance for machinery and identify opportunities to implement process improvements on the shopfloor.

HR Support: Assist in the recruitment and onboarding of new workers as the facility grows.
Required Qualifications

Leadership Experience: Proven experience in a supervisory or management role within a manufacturing or factory setting. Experience in metalwork is highly preferred.

Workforce Management: Demonstrated ability to manage and train a diverse team, including experience working with foreign workers.

Technical Literacy: Familiarity with ERP systems, production tracking software, and inventory management tools.

Language: Must be fluent in English for effective communication and reporting.
Salary & Visa Support

Monthly Salary: $3,500 – $4,500.
