Pharmacist

NTUC FAIRPRICE CO-OPERATIVE LTD is seeking registered Pharmacists to lead their Unity retail pharmacies across Singapore. This role is unique as it combines clinical expertise with business management, tasking you with running a pharmacy as a retail business manager.

Key Responsibilities

A Unity Pharmacist operates beyond the dispensary, acting as a clinical leader and a business operator:

  • Clinical & Professional Service: Provide high-level health and wellness advice, manage dispensing, and offer professional consultations to patients.

  • Business Management: Oversee daily retail operations, control operating costs, and manage the branch’s Profit & Loss (P&L).

  • Leadership & Supervision: Lead a diverse team including Retail Assistants, Supervisors, Executives, and Pre-registration Pharmacists.

  • Education & Mentorship: Act as a preceptor to mentor NUS students and interns, and develop training programs for retail staff on minor ailments and product knowledge.

  • Innovation: Participate in the digital transformation and innovation projects within the FairPrice Group.

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Professional Registration: Must be a Registered Pharmacist with the Singapore Pharmacy Council.

  • Experience: Requires at least 1 year of experience in a healthcare or pharmaceutical setting.

  • Skills: Excellent clinical competency combined with strong business acumen and digital literacy.

  • Attributes: Solution-oriented, resourceful, and passionate about people management and customer service.

Salary & Financial Incentives

  • Monthly Salary: $3,800 to $6,000.

  • Welcome Bonus: $3,000 (for new joiners until March 31, 2026).

  • Practice Allowance: A Pharmacy Practice Allowance of up to $8,000 per year.

  • Bonuses: Entitled to AWS and a Variable Performance Bonus.
