ST ENGINEERING AEROSPACE SERVICES COMPANY PTE. LTD. is seeking a skilled Spray Painter to join their world-class aviation maintenance team in Changi North. This Permanent, Non-executive role involves applying specialized coatings to aircraft surfaces, directly impacting both the aesthetics and the aerodynamic safety of the fleet.

Key Responsibilities

The role requires high technical precision and adherence to strict aviation regulatory standards:

Surface Preparation: Clean, sand, and mask aircraft components and surfaces to prepare them for optimal paint adhesion and finish.
Material Selection: Select the correct paint materials and application methods to meet specific aerospace engineering specifications and regulatory requirements.
Precision Application: Apply paint to various aircraft surfaces using professional spray guns, ensuring uniform coverage and a high-quality, flawless finish.
Quality Assurance: Conduct final inspections to verify that the coating complies with stringent aviation quality and safety standards before the aircraft is delivered back to the client.
Maintenance & Collaboration: Maintain specialized painting equipment and work areas while collaborating with the wider engineering team to manage project workflows.

Required Qualifications & Experience

Experience: Requires at least 2 years of experience as a spray painter. Experience in the aerospace or automotive industries is highly preferred.
Technical Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of various painting techniques, tools, and coating materials.
Certifications: Professional certifications related to painting and coating technologies are preferred but not mandatory.
Skills: Strong attention to detail, proactive problem-solving abilities, and a deep commitment to workplace safety regulations.
