Seamstress

LONGJIA MANUFACTURER PTE. LTD. is hiring a highly skilled Seamstress for their manufacturing facility at Shun Li Industrial Park. This Full Time role requires a deep understanding of the end-to-end garment production process, from technical cutting to final quality control.

Key Responsibilities

The role demands precision and the ability to adapt patterns for a custom fit:

End-to-End Production: Execute every step of the clothing production cycle—including fabric cutting, assembly, and finished product inspection—following strict factory standards.
Technical Garment Construction: Accurately produce garments based on complex design drawings or physical samples, ensuring the final piece matches the intended style requirements.
Pattern Modification: Utilize basic knowledge of clothing patterns to make simple adjustments. You will also perform custom modifications to the size and shape of garments to ensure an attractive fit based on wearer characteristics.
Machine Calibration: Adjust industrial sewing machine parameters, including stitch type, needle spacing, and tension, to meet specific sewing requirements for different fabric weights.

Required Qualifications & Experience

Experience: Requires 5 years of experience in garment manufacturing. The role is open to Fresh/Entry Level candidates who have the requisite technical background or training.
Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of fabric characteristics and how different materials behave during the sewing and cutting process.
Fabric Handling: Proficiency in marking and cutting fabric according to design templates or samples.
Workspace Management: Ability to maintain a clean and orderly work area, organizing all sewing machines, cutting tools, and accessories for maximum efficiency.
