Clinic Assistant (GP Clinic)

PANCARE MEDICAL CLINIC PTE. LTD. is looking for a Clinic Assistant to join their General Practitioner (GP) clinics at multiple locations, including Hougang, Lavender, Serangoon, and Ang Mo Kio. This Full Time role is an excellent entry point into the healthcare industry, offering a supportive environment with guidance from senior staff and doctors.

Key Responsibilities

The role involves a mix of administrative, frontline, and basic clinical support:

Patient Registration & Billing: Assist with registering patients under various categories, including Private, CHAS, Medisave, and corporate insurance. You will also handle payment collection and the submission of insurance claims.
Clinical Support: Support doctors during medical examinations and procedures such as ECG (Electrocardiogram) and minor surgical procedures.
Pharmacy Assistance: Pack dispensed medications and clearly explain dosage and administration instructions to patients to ensure safety and compliance.
Clinic Maintenance: Ensure treatment rooms are organized and stocked with essential supplies like alcohol swabs, syringes, and gloves. You will also perform general housekeeping to keep the clinic neat.
Administrative & Marketing Support: Handle email correspondence, invoice entry, and assist with the clinic’s marketing and communication projects.

Required Qualifications & Experience

Experience: No prior experience is required, as training and upgrading opportunities are provided.
Skills: Basic computer literacy and strong communication skills for interacting with diverse patient groups.
Attributes: A cheerful, responsible disposition and the ability to work effectively in a team.
Mobility: Must be willing to travel to other clinics within the group when required.
