Warehouse Operative / Order Picker
PRIME SUPERMARKET LIMITED is hiring a Warehouse Operative / Order Picker for their central distribution hub in Defu Lane. This Permanent, Full Time role is essential for maintaining the high quality and freshness of produce sold across their islandwide supermarket network.
Key Responsibilities
The role focuses on the delicate handling and systematic sorting of perishable inventory:

Freshness Quality Control: Inspect incoming fresh goods for quality, ripeness, and defects. You will sort and pack these items with care to prevent bruising or spoilage.

Cold Chain Management: Work within a temperature-controlled environment to preserve the shelf life of fresh produce.

Inventory Accuracy: Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure efficient goods flow and maintain an accurate count of stock.

Workspace Upkeep: Ensure all work areas remain clean, sanitized, and organized to meet food safety standards.
Required Qualifications & Experience

Experience: Open to Fresh/Entry Level candidates, though 1 year of experience in a similar field is preferred.

Physical Stamina: Must be capable of standing for prolonged periods and possess a “good eye” for detail during quality checks.

Licensing: A valid Forklift license is preferred but not mandatory.

Environment: Must be comfortable working in a cold room environment.
