F&B Host / Hostess (Crossroads Cafe)

SINGAPORE MARRIOTT TANG PLAZA HOTEL is seeking a dynamic F&B Host / Hostess for its iconic Crossroads Cafe. Located at the street level of the hotel in the heart of Orchard Road, Crossroads Cafe is a premier alfresco and indoor dining destination known for its international buffet and vibrant people-watching atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities

The role is a blend of brand ambassadorship, precise coordination, and financial integrity:

Guest Relations: Greet and seat guests according to established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). You will be the primary point of contact for enquiries and responsible for monitoring the special requirements of regular guests.
Reservation Management: Manage all restaurant reservations, ensuring accurate data recording and proactive follow-ups.
Marketing Support: Actively solicit new guests and participate in F&B promotions through direct marketing, mailing lists, and flyers in collaboration with the Sales & Marketing team.
Technical Knowledge: Maintain complete knowledge of menus, pricing, and all Marriott Guest Incentive Programmes to ensure accurate billing.
Cash & Bank Handling: Perform secure bank transport, process all payment methods, and resolve shift-end discrepancies while following property control audit standards.

Required Qualifications & Experience

Education: Minimum Professional Certificate/NiTEC in any field.
Experience: Requires 1 to 2 years of relevant experience in a high-volume hospitality or F&B environment.
Attributes: Excellent conversational skills, a positive outlook, and a teamwork-oriented mindset.
Skills: Knowledge of Total Quality Management (TQM) and the ability to maintain impeccable grooming and hygiene standards.
