Key Responsibilities
The role requires a blend of technical expertise, operational oversight, and meticulous quality control:

Machine Operation & Control: Lead the daily operation of packaging machinery, including complex startup/shutdown sequences and the continuous management of packaging materials.

Technical Maintenance: Perform routine diagnostic checks and execute preventative maintenance to ensure the machinery remains in an optimal operable state.

Quality & Standards: Verify that specific product ranges are matched with the correct packaging materials in strict accordance with company and industry standards.

Risk & Reporting: Proactively identify and report mechanical faults or packaging defects to senior leadership to minimize production downtime.

Logistics & Safety: Oversee the movement of completed inventory to the correct storage areas while adhering to rigorous health and safety protocols.

Documentation: Maintain comprehensive records regarding packing volume and machine maintenance history for audit and performance tracking.
Required Qualifications & Experience

Experience: Requires 4 years of experience in a technical or middle management role within the packaging or manufacturing sector.

Technical Proficiency: A clear understanding of basic troubleshooting, machine maintenance, and stock management processes.

Operational Skills: Excellent organizational and time management skills, with a willingness to work in a shift-based environment.
