STORE ASSISTANT

AL AMAAN RESTAURANT PTE. LTD. is hiring a Store Assistant at a Managerial level for their location at 12 Clementi Road. Despite the “Assistant” title, this is a senior Full Time role requiring 8 years of experience to lead retail operations, drive sales strategy, and manage team performance.

📋 Key Responsibilities

The role involves a comprehensive mix of floor management, strategic planning, and administrative oversight:

Sales Leadership: Drive the achievement of store-wide and individual sales targets. You will work to maximize the business potential of each department in alignment with company strategy.
Customer Relationship Management (CRM): Deliver exceptional service by upholding brand values. You will monitor and ensure the quality of data in staff client books to propose personalized action plans for customers.
Operational Management: Oversee daily functions including cash register operations, POS machine management, and the verification of new shipments for quality and quantity.
Team Development: Facilitate staff training and new hire inductions. You are responsible for identifying performance issues or policy violations and partnering with the Store Manager for resolution.
Store Standards: Maintain the highest level of visual merchandising and ensure the retail space is fully stocked and organized.
Compliance & Safety: Strictly enforce in-store security protocols and health and safety regulations.

🎓 Required Qualifications & Experience

Experience: Requires 8 years of experience in administration, secretarial, or retail management. Previous management experience in specialty retail (specifically the outdoor industry) is preferred.
Education: High school diploma or GED is preferred.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in using Point of Sale (POS) software, as well as labeling and pricing equipment.
Attributes: Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods during shift hours.

Availability: Flexibility to work within full opening hours, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
