📋 Key Responsibilities

The role combines transactional accuracy with active store management and customer engagement:

Cashiering Excellence: Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system to process customer purchases with high accuracy and efficiency.
Customer Relations: Provide helpful service by assisting with product returns, exchanges, and general inquiries to ensure a positive shopping experience.
Stock & Merchandising: Manage the visual appeal of the store by displaying merchandise effectively. You will also be responsible for replenishing stocks, receiving new orders, and assisting with regular stock-taking exercises.
Store Environment: Maintain a clean, well-organized, and welcoming atmosphere for all bookstore visitors.
Sales Optimization: Proactively identify opportunities to enhance the customer journey and capitalize on sales trends.

🎓 Job Requirements

Experience: Requires 1 year of experience in sales or the retail sector.
Availability: Must be able to start at short notice.
Attributes: A positive, customer-focused attitude with a strong commitment to teamwork.
Physicality: Capability to handle retail store hours and manage stock replenishment tasks.

⏰ Working Hours & Schedule

The role offers a balanced work-life structure through creative scheduling:

Weekly Hours: 44 hours per week.
Work Week: 5-day work week.
