Bell Captain

BIDEFORD HOUSE PTE. LTD. is recruiting a Bell Captain for COMO Metropolitan Singapore, a prestigious luxury hotel located within the integrated COMO Orchard lifestyle destination. This Permanent, Full Time role is a leadership position within the concierge and guest services department, ensuring the highest standards of hospitality and operational excellence.

📋 Key Responsibilities

As a Bell Captain, you are responsible for both direct guest interaction and the supervision of the Bellman team:

Team Leadership: Lead and coordinate the Bellman team to ensure all guest requests are handled promptly and professionally.
Premier Guest Welcome: Provide a warm, confident, and genuine first impression. You will show guests to their rooms, assist with luggage, and provide detailed information about the hotel and local area according to Leading Quality Assurance (LQA) standards.
Operational Management: Maintain designated lobby stations, checking them every 30 minutes. You are also responsible for the cleanliness of the bell stand, lobby, and baggage room.
Logistics & Support: Deliver messages and valet items to guest rooms. You will also assist the Front Office with various tasks and ensure guests are properly settled in their rooms.
Sustainability & Compliance: Implement environmentally responsible practices to support COMO’s sustainability goals while ensuring impeccable personal grooming and adherence to all LQA guidelines.

🎓 Job Requirements

Experience: Requires at least 2 years of experience in Hospitality or Customer Service.
Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead a team and manage high-pressure guest service environments.
Knowledge: Familiarity with Leading Quality Assurance (LQA) requirements or similar luxury hospitality standards is essential.
Attributes: A nurturing and attentive individual who is passionate about exceeding guest expectations.
