Patient Service Associate, Cardiac Clinics

NATIONAL HEART CENTRE OF SINGAPORE PTE LTD is seeking a dedicated Patient Service Associate for their Cardiac Clinics based at Outram Community Hospital. This Full Time role is essential for providing high-quality frontline service and clinical support to heart patients within the SingHealth network.


📋 Key Responsibilities

The role combines administrative efficiency with direct clinical support to ensure a smooth patient journey:

Frontline & Administrative Duties

  • Patient Flow: Manage the registration process, schedule follow-up appointments, and handle payment collections accurately.

  • Project Support: Contribute to service improvement initiatives and projects aimed at enhancing clinic efficiency and patient satisfaction.

  • Coordination: Liaise with various hospital departments to coordinate complex tests and procedures, ensuring patients are well-briefed on necessary preparations.

Clinical & Scan Room Support

  • Provider Assistance: Support doctors and radiographers within consultation and scan rooms to facilitate efficient examinations.

  • Patient Care: Conduct basic patient assessments and assist in the physical transfer of patients onto scanner tables when required.


🎓 Job Requirements

  • Education: A general Diploma, GCE ‘O’/’N’/’A’ Level, or a Certificate in Clinic Practice/Healthcare (Administrative Support).

  • Experience: Open to Fresh/Entry Level candidates; however, 1 year of experience in a similar healthcare setting is preferred.

  • Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office applications with a pleasant disposition and strong communication skills.

  • Language: The ability to speak a second language or local dialects is an advantage for assisting non-English speaking patients.
