Retail Assistant

PRIME SUPERMARKET LIMITED is seeking dedicated Retail Assistants to join Singapore’s largest family-owned supermarket chain. With 20 outlets across the island, this role offers a stable environment and various employment types including Full-Time, Part-Time, Permanent, and Temporary positions.


📋 Key Responsibilities

You will be responsible for ensuring a smooth shopping experience and efficient store management:

  • Merchandising: Arrange and restock merchandise on shelves to maximize visibility and ensure products are easily accessible to customers.

  • Customer Service: Act as the first point of contact by responding to inquiries and resolving customer feedback promptly and professionally.

  • Cashiering: Operate the cash register with high accuracy to process sales transactions and issue receipts.

  • Inventory Management: Perform regular stock takes and monitor inventory levels to ensure accurate stock records and prevent shortages.

  • Teamwork: Collaborate with colleagues on ad-hoc duties to support daily store operations.


🎓 Job Requirements

  • Experience: Open to Fresh/Entry Level candidates; 1 year of experience in retail is preferred but not mandatory.

  • Communication: Ability to communicate clearly in English to interact effectively with a diverse range of customers and team members.

  • Interpersonal Skills: Strong customer service orientation with a helpful and friendly approach.

  • Attributes: Reliable, proactive, and able to work in a fast-paced retail environment.


⏰ Working Hours & Location

  • Schedule: Various shifts available depending on the employment type (Full-time/Part-time).

  • Location: Islandwide (20 outlets across Singapore).


💰 Salary & Details

  • Monthly Salary: $2,400 to $2,700.

  • Job Level: Fresh / Entry Level.

  • Closing Date: March 15, 2026.
