Full-Time Packer (Fruits & Veg)

NTUC FAIRPRICE CO-OPERATIVE LTD is hiring Full-Time Packers for their Fresh Food Distribution Centre in Jurong. This role is vital for ensuring that fresh produce reaches supermarket shelves in top condition, offering a stable career within Singapore’s largest grocery retailer.

📋 Key Responsibilities

You will handle the essential processing and quality control of fresh produce:

Packing & Sorting: Responsible for sorting, labeling, and packing fruits and vegetables according to company standards.
Quality Control: Conduct regular quality checks to ensure only the best produce is processed. Training will be provided on how to identify sub-standard items.
Inventory Tracking: Maintain accurate records for handovers and track daily shrinkage (waste) for both raw and finished goods.
Operations: Operate packing machinery and equipment (training provided) and coordinate with warehouse teams for stock transfers.
Ad-hoc Support: Assist other departments such as Seafood, Poultry, Picking, and Crate Washing when needed.

🎓 Job Requirements

Experience: No experience is required as full training is provided.
Senior Roles: Applicants with a WSQ Basic Food Hygiene Course or experience in food manufacturing/logistics may be considered for a senior role.
Physical Demands:
- Able to work in a cold environment (fresh food storage).
- Ability to lift single cartons weighing approximately 12kg without assistance.
Attributes: Detail-oriented team player with the ability to communicate in simple English.
Availability: Willing to work on weekends and Public Holidays.

⏰ Working Hours & Location

Schedule: 6 days per week (including weekends and PH).
Rotating Shifts: 7:00 AM – 3:20 PM & 8:00 AM – 4:20 PM.
Location: 7 Sunview Road, Singapore 627618 (Accessible from Pioneer / Boon Lay MRT).
