A full time job opportunity is available at PLAIN VANILLA BAKERY PTE. LTD. in Singapore. The candidate will perform the duties of a baker and pastry chef. The selected candidate will get a salary of $2,350 to $4,000 on a monthly basis. There is a preference for a Certificate in Pastry & Bakery or equivalent. Key responsibilities
The selected candidate will be responsible for the daily preparation and production of bread and pastry items. They will maintain costs and ensure the consistent quality of all bread and pastry products. The candidate will ensure the proper handling and storage of all food items in strict accordance with standard sanitation and health regulations. They will also complete any other assigned kitchen duties with responsibility to support the daily operations.
Required qualifications
The candidate is preferred to have a Certificate in Pastry & Bakery or an equivalent qualification. They should be legally eligible to work in Singapore. The candidate must be physically capable of working in a commercial kitchen environment. They must be willing to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays as required by the bakery’s operational needs.
Experience needed
This is a non-executive position. The candidate should have at least 3 to 5 years of working experience as a Baker or Pastry Chef de Partie (CDP). Any type of prior experience in a high-volume production routine will be considered a strong asset. On the job guidance regarding the specific recipes and quality standards of Plain Vanilla Bakery will be provided to the selected candidates.

The candidate should have good knowledge of bread and pastry preparation. They should have good communication skills to interact effectively with the kitchen team. The candidate should be highly adaptable, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team to ensure smooth production.
