Bell Attendant

A full time job opportunity is available at Grand Hyatt in Singapore. The candidate will perform the duties of a bell attendant within the Rooms Division. The candidate will have to work rotating shifts, which include weekends and public holidays. There are multiple vacancies for this on-site hospitality position located at Scotts Road. Key responsibilities

The selected candidate will be responsible for providing an excellent and consistent level of service to all hotel guests. They will ensure the smooth and efficient running of the baggage services. They will assist guests with their luggage upon arrival and departure, ensuring items are handled safely and promptly. They will complete the assigned front-of-house duties with responsibility and maintain a professional attitude at work.

Required qualifications

The candidate is required to possess a minimum PSLE education. They must have a pleasant disposition and maintain a highly well-groomed appearance at all times to align with the hotel’s luxury standards. The candidate must be physically and mentally able to commit to working shifts, weekends, and public holidays.

Experience needed

This is an entry-level, non-executive position. The candidate is not required to have any prior working experience. Any background in hospitality or customer service will be considered an asset, but comprehensive on-the-job training will be provided to the selected candidates.

Skills and competencies

The candidate should be reliable, approachable, and punctual. They should have strong interpersonal skills to welcome guests and make them feel comfortable. The candidate should have basic communication skills to assist with guest inquiries. They should be flexible with the changing weekly hours of work and be able to follow operational instructions carefully.
