Boat Assistant

WATER B PTE. LTD. is hiring a Boat Assistant to join their team operating along the Singapore River. The position is based at Riverside Point, 30 Merchant Road 058282. This is a Full Time, Non-executive role in Customer Service.

Key Responsibilities

The role, also referred to as a Deckhand, involves a mix of safety, hospitality, and vessel maintenance:

• Passenger Safety: Assist passengers during embarkation and disembarkation to ensure they board and exit the boat safely.

• Operational Support: Directly assist the Captain with vessel operations as needed.

• Customer Interaction: Explain the company’s products and services to customers and maintain a good self-image.

• Vessel Care: Responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the boat.

• Teamwork: Work collaboratively within a team and use basic communication skills effectively.

Required Qualifications & Traits

• Image: Ability to portray a professional and positive self-image.

• Communication: Capable of basic communication with both the crew and passengers.

• Aptitude: Willingness to work in a team environment.

Benefits

The monthly salary for this position ranges from $2,000 to $2,500.
