BUILDING PAINTER

EXCELLENCE CONSTRUCTION & RENOVATION (S) PTE. LTD. is seeking a highly experienced Building Painter for residential and commercial projects. This is a Full Time, Non-executive position with Islandwide work locations.

Key Responsibilities

The role covers the entire painting process from preparation to finishing:

• Site Preparation: Read blueprints to determine work requirements and prepare the site by building scaffolding and covering fixtures.

• Surface Preparation: Prepare walls by scraping, sanding, and removing old paint. You will also fill cracks and holes with plaster or appropriate materials.

• Material Mixing: Mix paint and other materials to achieve the exact color or texture required for the project.

• Application: Paint surfaces using various tools according to instructions, and apply varnish or other protective finishes.

• Project Management: Calculate costs and negotiate prices directly.

Required Qualifications & Traits

• Technical Knowledge: Solid knowledge of commercial and construction painting techniques, materials, and selection.

• Physical Ability: Manual dexterity and excellent balance are essential for working on scaffolding and ladders.

• Safety: Must strictly adhere to all health and safety precautions at all times.

• Attributes: High attention to detail and a conscientious work ethic.

Experience Needed

This is a senior-level role requiring 10 years of experience in Building and Construction.

Working Hours & Flexibility

The position requires high availability for various shift patterns:

• Overtime: Must be able to work after the regular schedule.

• Weekends/PH: Availability for Saturdays, Sundays, and Public Holidays if needed.

• Shifts: Flexible to work any shift, including Night or Day shifts.

Benefits

The monthly salary for this position ranges from $3,700 to $3,900.
