LITTLE FARMS PTE. LTD. is looking for a Butcher Specialist to join their premium Meat Department. Little Farms is renowned for its commitment to ethical sourcing and “real, honest food.” This Full Time role is an excellent opportunity for either an experienced butcher or a passionate culinary professional to master the craft of meat specialization in a high-end retail environment.


📋 Key Responsibilities

You will be responsible for the artistry of meat preparation and providing an educational experience for customers:

  • Meat Craftsmanship: Trim, debone, portion, and slice a wide variety of meats with high precision. You will also handle the weighing, labeling, and pricing of on-demand cuts for customers.

  • Stock & Inventory: Receive and inspect incoming meat deliveries for quality and accuracy. You will monitor stock levels to minimize waste and ensure proper storage based on specific temperature requirements.

  • Hygiene & Safety: Adhere to strict food safety SOPs, maintain daily production logs, and ensure that all specialized butchery equipment is sanitized and well-maintained.

  • Customer Experience: Act as a subject matter expert by offering personalized advice on meat selections, cooking techniques, and product knowledge to enhance the shopping experience.


🎓 Requirements & Traits

  • Experience: Ideally 1 to 2 years of experience in butchery or culinary preparation. However, Little Farms is willing to train candidates who demonstrate high drive and passion.

  • Communication: Strong verbal communicator who genuinely enjoys interacting with and educating customers.

  • Attitude: A team player with a “cool under pressure” mindset and a strong commitment to food quality and sustainability.

  • Physicality: Must be comfortable working in a cold-prep environment and maintaining high standards of hygiene.
