MCI CONSULTING PTE. LTD. is hiring a Grill Fish Assistant for a prominent Japanese restaurant group located in the Central Region. This Full Time role is essential for delivering the authentic charcoal or gas-grill flavors characteristic of premium Japanese cuisine.

Key Responsibilities

The role requires a high level of precision in heat management and ingredient preparation:

  • Precision Grilling: Grill fish and other requested items according to pre-set recipes and specific customer requests. You must constantly monitor equipment temperatures to ensure perfect results.

  • Ingredient Preparation: Handle the washing and cutting of vegetables and ensure all food items are appropriately thawed before cooking.

  • Plating & Portioning: Manage the portions of grilled items and apply garnishes to meet the aesthetic standards of Japanese presentation.

  • Quality & Inventory: Verify that all supplied ingredients are of high quality and accurate quantity, ensuring all items are labeled correctly for food safety.

  • Sanitization & Maintenance: Maintain a sterile work area through constant cleaning and perform both general and preventative maintenance on grilling and broiling equipment.

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Experience: Requires 1 year of experience in an F&B environment, preferably within a Japanese kitchen.

  • Technical Skills: Basic understanding of grilling techniques and kitchen safety protocols.

  • Attributes: Reliable, detail-oriented, and capable of working efficiently in a high-temperature environment.

Salary & Benefits

  • Monthly Salary: $2,000 to $2,300.
