Laundry Operator

PARADOX CLARKE QUAY PTE. LTD. is looking for a Laundry Operator to join their urban resort team at Paradox Singapore Merchant Court. This is a Full Time, Non-executive position based on-site in the vibrant Clarke Quay district.

Key Responsibilities

The role involves managing the end-to-door lifecycle of guest and employee garments:

Guest Services: Travel to guest rooms for pickups, verify laundry slips/room numbers, and provide accurate receipts.
Garment Care: Sort items for washing, dry cleaning, pressing, or repair. You must read all clothing labels, treat spots/stains, and record any pre-existing defects before processing.
Technical Operations: Operate and maintain industrial washers, dryers, dry cleaning machines, pressers, and irons using correct temperatures and chemicals.
Uniform Management: Sort, clean, and transport employee uniforms to the uniform room.
Safety & Inventory: Check pockets for forgotten items and return them in envelopes. Monitor chemical and supply levels, reporting to superiors when stocks are low or equipment is faulty.

Service Mindset: Ability to comply with guest requests and deliver clothing within stipulated timeframes.
Technical Skills: Familiarity with laundry machinery and chemical usage.
Digital Literacy: Ability to utilize internal systems to receive and track tasks.
