Office Assistant

HORIZON GLOBAL SERVICES PTE. LTD. is recruiting an Office Assistant to support the administrative operations of Opera Estate Primary School in the Siglap area. This is a Full Time, Contract role spanning one year with a possible extension, offering a stable environment within the education sector.

Key Responsibilities

The role is multifaceted, combining frontline service with essential behind-the-scenes school administration:

  • Customer Service & Reception: Act as the first point of contact for the school, handling phone calls and assisting students, staff, and parents with walk-in enquiries.

  • Administrative Support: Manage document filing, record tracking for mail, and assist with document management. You will also provide relief support for printing school materials.

  • Sickbay Management: Provide care for students who are unwell or injured and maintain the school’s sickbay logbook.

  • Logistics & Stocktaking: Monitor and replenish supplies for the office, including stationery, first aid items, refreshments, and general logistics.

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Education: Minimum GCE ‘N’ Level qualification.

  • Experience: Requires 1 year of experience in administration. While open to Fresh/Entry Level candidates, those with experience in school admin functions are preferred.

  • Aptitude: Must be comfortable and professional while working in a primary school environment.

Working Hours & Schedule

This role offers a structured schedule with weekends and public holidays off:

  • Monday – Thursday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (includes 30 min lunch).

  • Friday: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (includes 30 min lunch).

  • Rest Days: Saturdays, Sundays, and gazetted Public Holidays.

Salary & Benefits

The monthly salary for this position ranges from $1,500 to $2,500.
