OIL BROKERAGE INTERNATIONAL PTE. LIMITED is seeking a Ship Operator to join their specialized Claims Department at their Cecil Street office. This is a high-level Full Time role within a global brokerage firm that services the oil trading community across four international hubs.
Key Responsibilities
The role is focused on the post-fixture and financial aspects of maritime operations, specifically handling claims:

Claims Management: Review and acknowledge various maritime claims and their associated supporting documentation.

Demurrage Calculations: Perform precise and timely calculations for demurrage (liquidated damages for delays in loading/unloading) and other operational claims.

Processing: Follow through on the entire claims submission cycle to ensure timely resolution and payment.
Required Qualifications & Experience

Education: A Diploma or Undergraduate degree in Maritime studies is considered a significant advantage.

Experience: Requires 1 year of experience in a similar field, though the company is open to Fresh/Entry Level candidates who possess the right academic background and mindset.

Attributes: Candidates must be self-motivated, diligent, and highly meticulous, given the financial accuracy required for claims calculations.
Salary & Global Presence

Monthly Salary: $4,500 to $8,000.
