EC MANPOWER PTE. LTD. is recruiting a professional Tailor’s Cutter on behalf of YONG SENG SHIRT COMPANY PTE. LTD., a specialist in high-quality garment construction. Located in the Eunos industrial hub, this Full Time role is critical for the initial technical phase of custom garment creation, ensuring precision from measurement to fabric.
Key Responsibilities
The role requires a high degree of technical skill in pattern making and material management:

Measurement & Drafting: Take precise body measurements for custom orders and translate them into accurate cutting patterns. You will also be responsible for adjusting existing patterns to meet unique client specifications.

Precision Cutting: Execute fabric cutting with extreme accuracy based on finalized designs and measurements.

Material Efficiency: Strategically layout patterns to minimize fabric wastage, directly impacting the cost-efficiency of production.

Collaborative Quality: Work in tandem with designers and tailors to ensure the final fit meets the company’s stringent quality standards.

Tool Maintenance: Maintain and sharpen cutting tools to ensure clean edges and professional workmanship.
Required Qualifications & Experience

Experience: Requires at least 3 years of professional experience as a Tailor’s Cutter.

Technical Knowledge: Strong expertise in various fabric types, pattern drafting, and specialized cutting techniques.

Design Literacy: Ability to interpret complex garment designs and translate them into technical patterns.

Attributes: Exceptional attention to detail, strong workmanship, and the ability to meet production deadlines while working independently.
Salary & Details

Monthly Salary: $3,300 to $5,500.
