SHOPEE SINGAPORE PRIVATE LIMITED is looking for a Sorter to join their SPX Express hub operations. This is a Permanent, Non-executive role within the fast-paced logistics and supply chain sector.

Key Responsibilities

The role is critical to ensuring parcels move through the Shopee network accurately and on time:

• Inbound Processing: Receive parcels delivered in gunny bags or on pallets and verify that quantities match the delivery orders (DO).

• Machine Operation: Operate and monitor sorting machines to ensure the accurate induction and movement of parcels.

• Parcel Sorting: Manually or mechanically sort packages based on specific criteria such as size, destination, and priority level.

• Scanning: Perform systematic scanning of parcels as assigned to maintain tracking accuracy.

Required Qualifications & Traits

• Physical Fitness: High-volume parcel environments require significant physical work.

• Detail Oriented: Strong attention to detail and accuracy is essential to prevent sorting errors.

• Experience: Candidates should be experienced in a warehouse or logistics environment.

• Attitude: Seeking a keen learner who can adapt to a dynamic and collaborative team setting.

Working Hours & Flexibility

The hub operates around the clock to meet e-commerce demands:

• Shifts: Must be able to work day or night shifts, including weekends.

• Campaign Needs: Flexibility to work night shifts during major sales campaigns and peak business periods is necessary.

Benefits

The monthly salary for this position ranges from $1,800 to $2,200.
